This project takes me into the city to photograph where I feel the city has influenced me most, the places visit surround me so I can try and find a sense of belonging, my photographic object represents me and my eyes in the city it is a way of showing what I see and how I feel and think when I am in these places

The world around me is photographed at eye height to show that everything is through my eyes. I look out for the places I visit on a daily or weekly basis, my aim is to find comfort in the well-known and to show how peaceful I find the city where I live. The object of my work resonates with this too, a projector that is still unmoving and calm.

As all the images are from what I see, think, and feel the projection is a snapshot from my mind and what I see my object itself is a representation of my memory, my brain, and my overall feeling toward the city. I am constantly by myself, not isolated and not really alone with the building and lights that surround me, I find peace in the busyness and I find calmness.
