I use photography as an outlet for self-expression, I make pictures for myself and of myself, and in this project to understand the reality of consumerist obsession culture in London and why it is so closely linked with self-expression, self-obsession, and narcissistic tendencies.

A clearer understanding of myself and of the city I live in allows me to explore my own tendencies and let me engage with the places and spaces around me as well as self-reflect on what I am like as a person and how I have grown to love myself and want to take images of me and shape myself into a self-loving person something I have never been in my twenty-one years of being in a self-obsessed social media influenced ‘like’ oriented society.

My project goal was to have a sense of love for the metropolis around me and show places that I enjoy being in W1 was somewhere I have been obsessed with since before I moved to the city, the mass sprawl of life and diverse people has always made me want to explore and shoot and I am happy with my outcomes.
